Load-Bearing Walls
MBSL’s Engineers, Architects and drafting professionals are seasoned and extremely meticulous when creating your panelized steel system; every panel, stud, beam, brace, angle, clip, and connection is drawn and detailed to perfection. Our wall panels are designed using various gauging of steel material. These gauges can range from 12gauge (2.78mm) to 20 gauge (0.84mm) and generally use the lighter gauges as the height of the building increases. Steel studs also vary in size ranging from a 2 ½ “(64mm) to 10’ (254mm) web.
MBSL creates varying wall strengths by increasing sheet steel thickness or decreasing the member spacing to provide the client with the best architectural design of their wall panels. Wall panel sizes are only restricted by transportation requirements which are easily worked around using advanced technology.
Load bearing/ Non-load Bearing
MBSL can create both load-bearing and non-load bearing walls (interior and exterior). This is completed through our tailored manufacturing process. All panels are designed and built with the utmost quality ensuring all panels achieve and surpass fire, sound transmission and thermal resistance ratings set out in the residential and commercial building code requirements.
