- Residential and Commercial Applications
- Custom Manufactured
- Structurally Engineered/Load-Bearing
- Galvanized Cold Formed Steel Members
- Integrated features
- Manufactured Precision and Quality
- Factory installed sub-sheathing
- Outboard Thermal Insulation options
- 100% Compatibility with Standard Finishing Methods and Materials
Wall designs are available to achieve fire, sound transmission and thermal resistance ratings that will exceed any residential or commercial building code requirements.
Wall panel sizes are assembled to meet the projects needs. Magest Building Systems Limited's Wall Panel sizes are only restricted by governmental transport regulations and practical handling limits.
Steel Material Thicknesses / Gauges / Spacing
Structural Light Steel wall framing members are available in 2 1/2"(64mm), 3 5/8'(92mm), 6"(152mm), 8"(203mm) and 10"(254mm) sizes. Each of these sizes are available in sheet steel thicknesses ranging from 20ga(0.84mm) up to 14ga(1.91mm). The ability to achieve varying wall strengths by simply increasing sheet steel thicknesses or decreasing the member spacing allows us to match any architectural design requirements.
Integrated Features
- Pre-Punched Holes for Mechanical & Electrical Services
- Insulated Structural Lintels
- Precise Window Door and Mechanical Rough Openings
- Built-in Insulated Structural Posts
- High Strength Cross Bracing
- Top of Wall Load Distribution Systems
Connections
Factory made connections include, self-tapping screws.. On site construction installation requires simple screw and bolt connections only.
Sub sheathing solutions
Factory installed sub sheathing examples / applications:
- Factory Installed Rigid Polystyrene Insulation Board
- used to achieve a 25% thermal resistance rating on the exterior of steel studs (preventing thermal bridging)
- typically used for on-site face brick installation
- Factory Installed Densglass
- typically used as a substrate for the application of EIFIS systems
- Factory Installed OSB
- typically used as a nailer (in conjunction with Rigid Polystyrene Insulation Board) for on-site siding installation
- also used for lateral bracing
